Due to the extreme heatwave forecast, we have made the decision to close tomorrow. The health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff is our highest priority, and we feel this is the most responsible course of action.

We will also be closed on Friday as we pay our respects at the funeral of our loyal customer and friend, Chris.

We appreciate your understanding and support during this time. We will reopen as normal after these closures and look forward to welcoming you back soon.

🎉 4 Years of The Cake Kitchen!! 🎉

Today, we’re celebrating 4 amazing years of The Cake Kitchen! ☕🍰

I’ve loved every minute of this incredible journey. From taking the leap into running my own business to becoming an established coffee shop here in Chirk, it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

I can’t thank every single one of our customers enough—whether you’ve visited once or have been with us since day one. To our regulars, many of whom I’m lucky enough to now call friends, thank you for your continued loyalty, support, and kind words. You have all played a huge part in making The Cake Kitchen what it is today.

A special thank you must go to Ffion Barrett for choosing to work for me & putting up with me for the past 3 years! It simply wouldn’t be what it is today without you by my side 🫶

I’d also like to say a huge thank you to my family, who continue to be—and always will be—my biggest supporters. Your encouragement, belief in me, and unwavering support have helped me through every step of this journey.

And finally, to my forever guardian angel, my Dad 💙💙💙Although you’re no longer here, I know you went to heaven proud of everything I had achieved, and I know you’ll continue to be proud of everything still to come. Your belief in me, your guidance, and your love has and will continue to stay with me every single day. I hope I continue to make you proud, just as you would have wanted me to 🕊️

Here’s to many more years of coffee, cake, laughter, and making memories. Thank you all, once again, from the bottom of my heart. I am forever grateful that you continue to support us and help make my dreams come true every single day.
