Antique Chaise longue

This chaise came in in a very sorry state . All the springs in the seat had become detached so it was very uncomfortable to sit on, the fabric was torn and the wood was scratched and marked.
Everything was stripped out , old fabric, springs, old horse hair and built back up again using all traditional methods,

The wood was stripped and polished by to reveal Indian rose wood 😍

The soft floral fabric really compliments the age of the chaise now and should last another few decades ❤️

This is the second sofa that I’ve recovered for my lovely client.
This one was recovered in a tweedy turquoise mix of colours from Linwood Fabric
The colour way is a stunner ⭐️

The frame was cleaned up and double piping added to all edges.
