October has had a busy start for us, two private dining events, a tapas night, lots of afternoon tea and not forgetting the madness of takeaway coffees for the Alcester 10k. We’ve still got spaces for next Friday’s autumnal night, send me a message if you’d like to join, it’s a lovely menu with a choice for each course. Soup, warm winter salad, pie, sausage & mash, sticky toffee pudding and crumble!

Just a few pictures from the cafe recently. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee, a generous slice of our homemade cakes, a cracking bacon sandwich or trying out one of our specials like Welsh Rarebit or French Toast Croissant with Bacon & Maple Syrup, you know you can expect a warm welcome, fast service, delicious food and an excellent cup of coffee. It’s very close now to 5 years since I bought the cafe and time really has flown. Maybe let me know in the comments your favourite things from the last 5 years and we will see if we need to bring some things back this next month 🥰

Friday night’s Greek Night was a special one. Lots of delicious, fresh, homemade food. Mezze to start with Watermelon & Feta Salad, Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Tzatziki, Olives, Grilled Veg & Breads. Chicken Souvlaki or Lamb Koftas with Greek Lemon Potatoes & Greek Salad for main and Baklava with Ice Cream for dessert. New nights up on the board now, Mediterranean Sharers on 17th July, 3 Course French Bistro on 7th August. Message me for details, we would love to see you there!

Running a small business is always challenging, but I’ve decided to add in yoga teaching too. Whilst my schedule looks super busy right now, I find that everytime I sit down on my mat, whether I’m practising on my own at home or holding a space to share with others, I’m able to stop, to breathe and to refocus. This is why I’m so passionate about sharing yoga with you all 💕

Who is a fan of our cakes?! We have been making our own cakes, scones, biscuits, etc for the past 4 years and we’ve occasionally made special cakes or desserts for birthdays and events. We are now going to have this all listed on our website so you can easily book a whole cake, dessert or a selection of bitesize chunks for your party or event. Keep an eye on our stories and I’ll let you know when it’s all up on the website. We would love to make your event extra special with some delicious sweet treats 🍰
