We turned 1 today ❤️ and honestly, I don’t even know how to put this feeling into words. This time last year, Hues was just an idea that lived in my head. No customers, no team, no memories, just a lot of hope and a scary amount of uncertainty 😅. Since then, I’ve spent more hours in this place than anywhere else. I’ve celebrated here, stressed here, laughed here, sat here after closing wondering how we’re gonna make it work, and then opened the doors the next morning and carried on. The craziest part is that somewhere along the way, this stopped feeling like my café and started feeling like our café. Seeing familiar faces walk in, hearing “the usual please”, watching people bring their friends, families, dates, and even visitors from abroad… those are the moments that stay with me. So if you’ve ever walked through our doors, even just once, thank u. U might think u just came in for a coffee, but u became part of a story that’s changed my life.
