The legendary voice of The Headpins is coming to Blind Bay this Thursday.

This Thursday, Darby Mills & Press Play bring an unforgettable evening of classic hits from the '60s, '70s, and '80s to Music By the Bay.

Best known as the powerhouse voice behind the legendary Canadian rock band The Headpins, Darby Mills has spent more than four decades captivating audiences across North America. Joining her are Dennis Marcenko (bass & vocals), Jon Treichel (guitar & vocals), and Richard Graham (drums & vocals)—three exceptional musicians whose careers have included touring, recording, and performing with some of the biggest names in music.

Together, PresSPlay is more than just a project—it's a labour of love. Their passion for music shines through every performance, bringing timeless songs to life with the kind of energy, musicianship, and heart that only seasoned performers can deliver. As they describe it, their goal is simple: to fill the evening with songs that stir the heart, spark cherished memories, and remind us why live music has a way of bringing people together.

We're kicking off the 2026 Music By the Bay season with Marina Funky Time!

Formed by talented, local Shuswap-Okanagan musicians, Marina Funky Time brings together familiar favourites from across four decades of music. From Bill Withers and the Bee Gees to Bruno Mars and Dua Lipa, their mix of retro classics and modern hits offers something for every generation.

Whether you're singing along with old favourites, enjoying dinner from a local food vendor, catching up with friends, or simply taking in a beautiful summer evening, Marina Funky Time is the perfect way to open another season of Music By the Bay.

Join us this Thursday, June 25 at Centennial Field as we begin another summer of music, community, and Thursday nights in Blind Bay brought to you by the Arts Council for the South Shuswap.
