Lunker Derby 2026 is in the books! 🎣 105 anglers. 40+ boats. Two unforgettable nights and one insane day on the water, plus stories we'll be talking about for a while.

Huge congrats to Gord Speed for the biggest fish of the derby, and to Laurie Bradley, who won the Calcutta Auction by putting in the winning bid on Gord's boat!

And the number we're most proud of: $20,000 total raised, with $15,000 to Salt Spring Island Minor Baseball and Fastball Association, and $5,000 to Salt Spring Salmon Enhancement Society. Thanks entirely to everyone who fished, donated, and showed up.

This one doesn't happen without the people who show up for it, year after year: every angler and every sponsor who backed us!

Whether you were out there with us or you're already kicking yourself for missing it, mark your calendars: September 11, 2027. Same derby and new stories waiting to happen!
