Joia Rara - for filter

Rich and intricate with red fruit nuances, revealing numerous dimensions with each sip. The anaerobic natural process introduces wine notes along with cacao nibs, enhancing the intensity and depth of flavour. The taste is vibrant and unique.

An intriguing aspect of how "Joia" is pronounced is that it resembles "Hoia." In Portuguese, "Joia Rara" translates to "Rare Jewel," while in Taiwanese, "Hoia" signifies wealth. What a wonderful name!

Origin: Brazil, Cerrado Mineiro

Varietal: Red and Yellow Catuaí, Mundo Novo, Paraíso

Process: Anaerobic Natural

Flavour: Pomegranate, Cacao nibs, Winey

For the second year in a row, we've chosen to bring Dusangirijambo back.

Not because we wanted something familiar, but because it continues to deliver everything we look for in a great cup: balance, big body, and a flavour profile that people genuinely enjoy.

Just as importantly, buying this coffee again means continuing to support the same producer. Building long-term relationships with coffee farmers gives them greater stability and confidence to keep producing exceptional coffee, year after year.

Coffee of the month - Dusangirijambo, tailored for espresso enthusiasts.

We’re excited to present the latest harvest of Dusangirijambo, following the fantastic feedback we received from you last year.

This crop is richer in body, providing a noticeable weight on the palate. It particularly shines when paired with milk, where its robust, punchy character elevates the overall experience.

Perrie shares: "I enjoy it as a latte so much that I couldn’t resist having three cups in one day."

When enjoyed black, the coffee offers a lively, juicy orange flavor combined with a dark choc, toffee, rounded mouthfeel.

I highly recommend it to all our friends at Pound.

Origin: Burundi, Maruri, Kayanza

Flavour: Orange, Walnut, Golden Syrup

We’ve teamed up with Ripple Brewing to create a coffee brown ale that’s rich, smooth, and seriously easy-drinking.

Massive thanks to the legends at Ripple for bringing this collab to life, and to Lana Pratt for the stunning photography featured on the can. Cheers to local collaborations. 🍻

Coffee for filter - Dez Anos

We couldn’t get enough of the awesome rose scent when brewing with the V60; it's pretty rare and definitely noticeable.

This Brazilian coffee wraps up with a nice sweetness like red grapes, leaving you with a clean end and a hint of nuttiness.
-
Dez Anos is a special microlot that celebrates the 10 year relationship between the importer, MCM and Fabiano Borré and his family’s Fazenda Progresso.

In the processing of this coffee, infrared light is used to separate green fruit from the ripe red cherries that are ideal for processing.

Mechanical dryers set at 33ºC for just over twelve hours a day ensure even drying over a period of three days.

Flavour note: Rose, Red grape, Elegant

Forget what you know about heavy, earthy Indonesian profiles.

This Washed Typica from Sulawesi is here to change the game.

Thanks to the meticulous work of PT TOARCO, this lot undergoes a traditional washing process rather than the typical wet-hulling.

A stunning cup featuring vibrant acidity, crisp flavor clarity, and a gorgeous creamy body.

It requires intense labor and comes in very limited top lots, making it a rare find, but the incredible cup quality is worth every cent.

📍 Available in the warehouse and online now. Get it before it is gone.

Where is Sulawesi?

Sulawesi is a uniquely "K-shaped" island in Indonesia, located right in the middle of the Indonesian archipelago.

Grown at an elevation of 1,250 meters by third-generation producer Yolan Tirta, this Gowa Regency lot is cultivated completely without chemical fertilizers, coexisting beautifully with local wildlife in rich volcanic soil.

This beautiful cup features vibrant notes of orange and stone fruit, beautifully balanced by a rich, syrupy sweetness and a clean, structured finish.
