Dear family, friends, and patrons,

We are very sad and disappointed to announce that unfortunately today we will not be opening for our Mother’s Day lunch.

Due to the severe weather, the power outage in Keurboomstrand, and damage to our generator from the recent storm, we are unable to operate. This is not a decision we take lightly—especially on such a meaningful day that so many of you look forward to celebrating.

We truly understand how special today is, and we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment caused. Unfortunately, this situation is completely out of our control, and we’ve had to make this difficult call.

Thank you for your continued kindness, patience, and understanding.

We look forward to welcoming you all back from the 1st of July.

Dear family, friends, and patrons,

It’s that time of year again… Our final week before we head off on a well-deserved Italian escape.

We’ll be closing Sunday after lunch, with Mother’s Day lunch as our last opening. Then it’s ciao for now from 11 May, and we’ll be back on 01 July.

We’re off to recharge, reconnect with family, and gather a little more inspiration to bring back to you.

And just to be clear — we’re not going anywhere 😉
No selling, no closing… just our annual holiday, as always.

Join us this week for one last plate (or two) before we go — and we’ll see you again soon, refreshed and ready for the next season.

Dear family, friends and patrons,

It’s soon that time of the year again — we will be closing for a short holiday from 11 May 2026 (the day after Mother’s Day).

We will be away for a few weeks, with reopening date to be confirmed.

Before the rumours start… no, we haven’t sold, and… no, we haven’t permanently closed — we will just be taking a well-earned break.

Until then, we look forward to filling your tables, your glasses, and your bellies before we close — enough, we hope, to keep you satisfied until we reopen.
