Preserve is a dynamic addition to historic downtown Winters. We look to preserve and promote the story of self reliance and sustainability through food and drink. Well placed grains of salt give way to cured meats, fresh milk is transformed into cheese, grapes are coaxed into wine and grain is bubbled into beer. The individual artistry and wisdom involved in these practices was once considered common knowledge. We aim to preserve these skills by creating a market place to showcase those who are diligently protecting these traditions all over Northern California. We hope that you can take the time to grab a handcrafted sandwich, share an assortment of New American small bites, try one of our rotating craft beers, watch a game and enjoy the simplistic luxuries with those people that make your life what it is. Preserve was proud to attend Yolo Food Bank’s fourth annual Global Rice Fest, with Chef Gene Hall representing our kitchen for a celebration of food, culture, and community.

We’re grateful to be part of a local food community that shows up for one another and supports the work of helping our neighbors access the food they need.

We’re setting the table for something special at Preserve.

Join us as Chef Dennis Sydnor takes over the Preserve kitchen for a one-night-only Sunday Supper. A Sacramento-based chef with more than 30 years of experience and a winner of Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen, Chef Sydnor brings a passion for local ingredients, sustainable agriculture, and community to the table.

For the evening, enjoy a special curated menu featuring Chef Sydnor’s additions alongside a selection of Preserve favorites, with our full bar open for cocktails, w**e, b**r, and more.

Reservations are paced throughout the evening with walk-ins welcomed at a first come first served basis.
