Gratitude.
Buffalo has been my home for 25 years now, and moments like this make me stop and appreciate just how far the journey has come.
I still remember going to $5 Bisons games after first pitch because that’s all I could afford. Years later, we have the privilege of catering meals for the Bisons and the Visiting clubhouse.
I remember walking through the Italian Fest playing $1 hands of blackjack, drinking jugged wine and watching bocce, never imagining that one day we’d have our own restaurant on Hertel Avenue during the very same festival.
This weekend, one of the best parts wasn’t just walking into the stadium serving food, it wasn’t watching us sell through over 600 clams and oysters in a couple hours, it was hearing so many people stop by to say, “We’re so happy you’re here.”
Those conversations mean more than you know.
To everyone who’s supported Fresh Catch over the years, whether you’ve been with us since day one or just discovered us this weekend, thank you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Every meal, every recommendation, every kind word has helped make this possible.
Buffalo has given me so much over the last 25 years. We’re incredibly grateful to keep investing back into the city and the community that believed in us.
