Originally established in 1931 as a downtown Wichita filling and service station, the Pumphouse now serves a different kind of clientele but still sticks to many of the same business principles. Family-owned and operated, we continue to take great pride in the one-of-a-kind experience we provide.

Every year, when possible, we close on the Fourth of July so our staff can celebrate the holiday with the people who matter most.

This year, Independence Day falls on a Saturday, which made the decision a little tougher. After plenty of discussion, we decided to honor that tradition and give our team the day off.

Pumphouse will be closed on Saturday, July 4th, and will reopen on Sunday with normal business hours.

Thank you for your understanding and for supporting a team that works hard to make Pumphouse what it is.

Happy 30th Anniversary to our friends and neighbors at Mort’s Cigar & Martini Bar!

It’s hard to imagine now, but before it became one of Wichita’s favorite spots for ci**rs, martinis, and conversation, this building was a gas station, just like Pumphouse. Photos like this are a great reminder of how Old Town has evolved over the years while still preserving so much of its character and history.

Congratulations to everyone at Mort’s on 30 years of memories, great drinks, and being an Old Town institution. Here’s to the next 30 years!
