Our 15th anniversary TBT series continues with Taco Love’s second expansion in 2018.

We took over the suite next door—the former sewing store—and transformed it into a larger bar and an additional kitchen for carryout and catering orders.

Our baby boy was only two, but he was just as excited as we were to show everyone the newest addition. 🥹

We were growing a restaurant, raising a family and building a dream—all at the same time.

As we look back, we also remember the special people who were part of this journey but are no longer here with us. They will always live in our hearts and forever be part of Taco Love’s story. ❤️

TBT to where it all started… 15 years ago. ❤️🌮

There was no big team. Just a little restaurant, a lot of faith, and a family willing to do whatever it took.

Jimena was our cashier and server—and pretty much wherever else she was needed. 😂 She was still working as an accountant too, so every once in a while, one of our accounting clients would walk in and find her taking their taco order. 🤭

Gelmin spent his days at our accounting firm and would come straight to Taco Love after work… often to wash dishes.

Our girls practically grew up here. ❤️ And Tito was with us in those early days too. Fifteen years later, he’s still part of the family business, now running Tito’s Fried Chicken by Taco Love.

Then came milestones we could only dream about. Our first catering was for Under Armour, and later we even catered for the House of Cards crew.

Looking at these photos as we celebrate Taco Love Grill’s 15th anniversary brings back so many memories—the long days, the sacrifices, the lessons, and all the people who believed in us.

Thanks to each one of you for supporting us, sharing our food, and growing with us since day one. We truly wouldn’t be here without you. ❤️

TBT to 2019… when our Cross Street Market chapter was just beginning. ❤️

Seven years ago, we built our Cross Street Market space from the ground up. Watching it come together piece by piece, until that TACO LOVE sign finally went up, made this little corner feel like ours.

And then, you made it yours too.

For seven years, you’ve filled this space with taco dates, margaritas, quick lunches and so many memories. 🌮❤️

This tbt is a little emotional for us because this October, our lease at Cross Street Market will come to an end.

But this isn’t goodbye to the neighborhood. Our story continues just a few minutes away at our recently opened Taco Love Locust Point at McHenry Row, where our operations will continue.

Cross Street will always be a special chapter of the Taco Love story. To everyone who stopped by, came back, told a friend and supported our family and our dream—thank you for seven incredible years. ❤️

We still have some time together at Cross Street, so for now, we’re going to enjoy every taco, every margarita and every memory until October. 🥹🌮

We received a not-so-great review about our fajitas.

The problem? There was too much food for one person to finish.

We’ll admit it… we’ve never been very good at small portions—or sending anyone home hungry.

A sizzling skillet piled high with your favorite fajitas, plus all the fixings on the side. That’s just how we do it at Taco Love. 🔥

And since today is National Fajita Day, there’s really only one thing left to say:

Come hungry. We’re not making them any smaller. 😉
