Before it was a legend, it was a little burger stand on Route 66 serving the classics! 🍔🍟🌭
First opened as Queen’s Burgers in 1946, the West Hollywood landmark became Irv’s Burgers in 1970, when Irv Gendis took over and gave it the name that would become iconic.
Under Irv’s name, the stand continued its legacy as a classic roadside burger stop on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, along historic Route 66.
Decades of burgers, rock ’n’ roll history, and community later, the legacy lives on. ❤️

You can now visit Irv's Burgers in a new space just down the block from the 2nd location in West Hollywood! Through the years we’ve expanded all over Los Angeles and we open our first Las Vegas location in 2025.
Since 1946, Irv’s Burgers has been serving up history. What started as Queen’s Burgers on legendary Route 66 became Irv’s Burgers in 1970 when Irv Gendis took over.
