We received this letter from the NH Food Bank and wanted to share it with the community. Thanks to you, we dropped off 250 lbs of food and a check for $1047.00. These two donations represent feeding 2300 people!

The Pig Roast is intended to bring us all together for a good cause. Over the last 7 years we have donated over $10,000 and several hundred pounds of cans to help people in our state with food insecurity.

We could not be prouder of everyone who donated, as well as all of you who bring us staples to deliver to our local food bank.

As the saying goes, it takes a village. Our village represents the best in humanity!

We’d say despite the weather, the event was a great success!

We want to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone that made the 6th Annual Community Pig Roast absolutely SHINE despite the weather.

Every year we are overwhelmed with the outcome of the Pig Roast, and this year is no different. Thank you to every one who came out and donated a canned good, or money to the NH Food Bank. Because of all of you, we are able to donate SO many canned goods, and nearly $1000.

Firstly, we want to thank Andrea and Anthony with Waterville Resort for quickly getting tents set up, and the community room ready! Fernando at the Valley Pub for opening his restaurant to people wanting to eat out of the rain. Our b**r and w**e vendors for sticking it out and sampling some of our favorite drinks.

Thank you to the MANY volunteers that helped the event run so smoothly. Our food runners, servers, setup helpers... there was a lot to take on this year because of the rain, and it wouldn't have been possible without all of you. Especially Ellen Kiley! Ellen, the work that you did as our Volunteer Coordinator was integral to this event, and we cannot thank you enough for all that you did to take the pressure off of us.
