Our seasonal blend hits just right. 🍂

The sun’s still shining, but we’re starting to shake out the fleeces and dust off the wellies. And with that first hint of a chill in the air, we’re looking to a cozy cup. Harvest Blend is just the ticket, with all the warm, comforting goodness we want this time of year.

There’s no coffee quite like Ethiopian coffee, and Danche is one of the communities that keeps reminding us why.

For five years, we’ve come back to this spot in Gedeb, where hundreds of small family farms grow heirloom coffee beneath native shade trees. This year’s harvest is especially memorable. A new dual-stage fermentation process has brought even more fruit and sweetness to a coffee already known for its clarity and vibrancy.

In the cup: peach ring candy, juicy clementine, and a delicate finish of bergamot. 🍑🍊

We’re part of a long, living history, shaped by generations of people who have cared for and called this land home.

Today, on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we’re donating $2 for every bag of coffee sold online and at our cafes to the Wisconsin Tribal Conservation Advisory Council (WTCAC).

We invite you to take a moment to reflect on the history of the land you live on, the Indigenous Nations who have cared for it for generations, and the cultures, knowledge, and traditions that continue to shape Wisconsin today. Throughout the Americas we share a history that includes painful chapters. Acknowledging them is part of understanding and respecting the place we call home.

Wisconsin Tribal Conservation Advisory Council - WTCAC works alongside Wisconsin’s 11 Tribal Nations to support conservation and agriculture, strengthen natural resource stewardship, and sustain traditional foodways. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support their work.

We encourage you to learn more about WTCAC and the work they’re doing across Wisconsin.

This is one of those coffees we look forward to every year. ☕️

For more than a decade, we’ve worked with Porfirio Velasquez and the CODECH Cooperative in Todos Santos Cuchumatán, Guatemala, building a relationship that keeps getting deeper with each harvest.

This year, Porfirio built new raised drying beds with support from CODECH and Wonderstate, helping his coffee dry more slowly and evenly. He also separated coffees from his individual farms for the first time, giving us a clearer taste of what makes each place unique.

First up is Tojquia, Porfirio’s main farm and family home. Expect tart-sweet Honeycrisp apple, rich hazelnut, and a floral hibiscus finish. 🍎🌺

✨ Producer Dwight Aguilar Masias is a two-time Peru Cup of Excellence winner, and this Red Gesha is a beautiful example of why. We tasted it in Quillabamba this year and knew immediately we wanted to bring it home. Just 200 pounds were produced, and we were able to secure 66.

In the cup, it’s intensely floral and remarkably transparent, with bergamot, jasmine, apple blossom, fresh mango, and white grape. As it cools, lemon, grapefruit, honeydew, and Bing cherry emerge.

It’s one of those coffees that reminds us why we keep looking beyond the usual places for exceptional coffee. This is a very limited Reserve Lot, and we’re thrilled to share it.
