Thank you to everyone who came out today (and this entire week!) for our last "hoorah" before our summer hiatus... Mother Hubbard's Cupboard is officially BARE! And we are SO VERY GRATEFUL to you all for making this happen. ♥️💗♥️

Our cookies are going fast today, but we also have these beauties available:

*Cherry (yes... REAL cherries!) & toasted almond muffins with a crumbly almond streusel

*And one last "naked" chocolate chip cookie cake - this would be perfect on the Fourth of July, heated up in the oven for a few minutes, and served with vanilla ice cream!

This week our specials will be featuring fresh picked stone fruit from our home ranch at Cotta Family Farms!

Our seasonal flatbread comes topped with creamy chèvre, a drizzle of local honey, a variety of sliced plums, pluots, nectarines and white peaches, baby arugula dressed in our balsamic reduction, and a pinch of coarse sea salt. It comes with your choice of chips, or you can upgrade to a house salad or fruit for just a few bucks more.

And if you're taste buds are craving a light, fresh, seasonal salad, then we have the perfect version for you this week: A nice combination of the above mentioned stone fruits with hand leafed lettuce, pickled red onions, goat cheese, toasted almonds, and our balsamic vinaigrette - Absolutely lovely and naturally gluten-free (and vegan, minus the cheese).

Both the flatbread and salad specials are vegetarian, with the option of adding on any protein that we offer. We highly suggest adding on Aged Prosciutto, as it complements the other ingredients perfectly. Our sliced roasted chicken breast is also quite delicious as a protein option.

Just a few reminders before we sign off: If you are interested in ordering one of our new chocolate chip cookie cakes for the Fourth of July (or for any kind of celebration!), please give us a call by tomorrow (Tuesday), and we can have it fresh baked and ready for you to pick up anytime on Thursday, July 2nd (10:30 AM till 5:30 PM), OR on Friday, July 3rd! FYI: The Kitchen isn't typically open to the public on Fridays, but I will be in there working in the wee hours of the morning till about Noon-ish. So if you would like to pick up fresh baked cookies & chocolate chip cookie cakes, or even some freezer items, give us a heads up by this Thursday, and we will be happy to have it ready for you to pick up on Friday morning before 12 PM.

Lastly, just a quick reminder that come July 4th, we will be closing up shop for our annual summer hiatus. We will be closed throughout the month of July and will return in early August for more summertime fare & fun. 🫶

Ohhhhh Baby. Would you just look at this gorgeous chocolate chip cookie cake... Hubba-Hubba! 😍

Here's the lowdown: This is a 9-inch round cookie cake, that's basically the equivalent of having eight of our original chocolate chip cookies in one big round delight. It makes for a perfect celebratory treat, or a "just because you love someone" treat. We offer it bare/naked (with no decorations on top), in case you want to pop it in your oven for a few minutes to get it nice and goopy before serving with vanilla ice cream. And we also offer it as pictured, decorated with the most decadent chocolate buttercream frosting, made in-house with REAL organic grass-fed butter (the one pictured is decorated with some colorful sprinkles for a special birthday party). Depending on the occasion, we have some other sprinkle options that we can put atop our buttercream frosting... Just let us know in advance what you are celebrating and we will be happy to oblige.

We make these babies fresh to order, so we kindly ask for at least 48-hours notice. Bare/Naked Cookie Cakes are priced at $30 each, and decorated Cookie Cakes with chocolate buttercream frosting are priced at $35 each. Each cake will serve approximately 8 to 10 people. Remember: You are getting the equivalent of EIGHT of our full sized original chocolate chip cookies in one 9-inch cake!
