Meet our newest single origin: Ratnagiri Estate from Southern India. 🇮🇳 If you’ve been with us through our Roaster’s Choice subscription, this coffee might sound familiar. If you’ve never tried a coffee from India, there’s no better place to start.

Nestled in the Bababudangiri region of the Western Ghats, Ratnagiri Estate, meaning “Pearl Mountain,” is led by renowned producer Ashok Patre, whose relentless focus on quality and innovation has helped redefine what’s possible for Indian specialty coffee. Alongside experimental processing and meticulous cultivation, the estate is deeply committed to protecting the rainforest and biodiversity that surround the farm.

We first fell in love with Ratnagiri over three years ago after tasting one of their peaberry lots. Since then, we’ve watched their coffees earn well-deserved recognition throughout the specialty coffee world.

After a couple of years without it in our lineup, we’re excited to welcome Ratnagiri back for the summer. We can’t wait for you to taste it.
