If you are a regular at Russell’s on Macklind, you knew Trish.
Maybe you talked with her on the phone, sat with her at the bar, or stood at the bakery case while she helped you decide on sweets. She had a way of being part of everyone’s day. Always smiling, always positive, always making people feel welcome.
Trish was part of our family here for many years. A light in the restaurant and in the lives of the people around her.
It’s people like Trish who make a place feel like more than a business. She helped make it feel like home.
We have so many memories… Trish and Sandy on the fire escape 😉 (Sandy), holiday parties, and all the busy, chaotic, fun days and nights in the restaurant.
Into her late 60s and 70s, Trish showed up with a level of positivity, grace, and joy that is rare at any age. She was a favorite of our regulars and a warm, familiar presence for anyone walking in for the first time.
She will be deeply missed by our entire team. We feel lucky to have had her as part of our lives here.
Trish’s family will be hosting a celebration of life on Monday, May 11th. We will share the memorial link in our bio and link to Facebook.
