Some restaurants become part of a city’s story.

We’re honored that Sidney Street Café has been recognized as an OpenTable Icon, a distinction that reflects the experiences shared here night after night and the guests who continue to make us part of their celebrations.

For decades, Sidney Street Café has been a destination for memorable dinners, milestone celebrations, first dates, anniversaries, and evenings when great food and genuine hospitality are all that matter. That legacy has been built by a team committed to thoughtful service, exceptional cuisine, and the belief that every guest deserves an experience worth remembering.

Under the leadership of Chef/Owner Kevin Nashan, our culinary team continues to let the seasons guide the menu, celebrating remarkable ingredients with creativity, restraint, and the kind of attention to detail that defines fine dining. Paired with gracious hospitality from the moment you arrive until the last bite of dessert, every element is designed to make your evening feel special.

Being recognized as an OpenTable Icon is an incredible honor, but the recognition belongs just as much to our guests as it does to our team. Thank you for choosing Sidney Street Café for your celebrations, your traditions, and your everyday moments that deserve something extraordinary. Your continued support is what allows us to do what we love every single day.

If it’s been a while since your last visit—or if you’ve been waiting for the perfect excuse to make a reservation—we’d love to welcome you back. Reserve your table on OpenTable and experience why Sidney Street Café continues to be recognized as one of St. Louis’ most beloved dining destinations.

Some dishes begin with a recipe. This one began with a craving.

Chef Mykee wanted the flavors of a great duck taco paired with Spanish rice—and that simple idea became one of the most exciting plates on our summer menu.

Perfectly cooked duck is layered with Spanish rice, salsa verde, al pastor sauce, and a bright finish of crisp radish & fresh salsa that cuts through every rich, savory bite.

It’s familiar, unexpected, and unmistakably Sidney Street—where inspiration can start with something as simple as asking, “What do I want to eat today?”

Join us for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, or settle in at the bar beginning at 4:30, where our full dinner menu is always available.

I hope we get to celebrate around this table in every lifetime.

Some restaurants become part of your story. The place where birthdays are toasted, anniversaries are remembered, promotions are celebrated, old friends reconnect, and ordinary Tuesdays somehow become unforgettable.

If Sidney Street has been part of your story—or you’d like it to be—we’d love to save you a seat.

Reserve your next celebration on OpenTable. We’ll take care of the rest. 🥂

A new favorite has arrived on the dessert menu.

Sweet Corn Panna Cotta is layered with corn husk-smoked white chocolate ganache, blueberry compote, blueberry nougat, and caramelized corn silk—a thoughtful finish to dinner that captures the best of the season. 🌽

Try it this weekend!

Yesterday brought exciting news for Chef Kevin Nashan as his newest consulting project, The Clydesdale , was officially announced.

As George Mahe shares in St. Louis Magazine, Kevin’s vision is a modern tavern that honors the historic Anheuser-Busch heritage of the space while bringing together elevated comfort food, an exceptional seafood program, fresh house-made pastas, approachable cocktails, and the warm, genuine hospitality that has defined his career. Designed to be more than a game-day destination, The Clydesdale is meant to be a neighborhood restaurant where guests can gather before a St. Louis Cardinals game, settle in for date night, or simply enjoy a memorable meal any day of the week.

We’re incredibly proud to see Kevin’s creativity, leadership, and passion recognized on such a large stage, and we’re excited to watch this next chapter come to life. Congratulations to Kevin and everyone involved in bringing The Clydesdale to St. Louis.

A heartfelt thank you to George Mahe and the team at St. Louis Magazine for sharing the story so thoughtfully.
