Funny story….. we had a tech come out to replace a simple part of our espresso machine annnnd it ended up being a more complicated part that may or may not arrive by the weekend. Damn fancy Italian machines!!! Our espresso machine’s name is Marge and we’re in mourning.

Sooooo while we are going stay open our normal hours for hot coffee, cold brew, teas, lemonade, & pastries, if you want espresso-based drinks, see our friends at antagonistcafe only a mile away in South Soulard.

It’s Soulard Oktoberfest this Friday (3:30pm-10pm) & Saturday (11am-10:30pm) at the Soulard Market Park next to Protagonist 🍺 If you love b**r, pretzels, and German music, go to Oktoberfest at Soulard Market or Soulard St. Louis for details!

We’ll be open our regular 7am to 7pm hours but parking will be more challenging. If you want to avoid us all together, we don’t blame you!! Instead, visit our sister coffeeshop antagonistcafe in South Soulard (close to us but far enough from the festivities!!)
