•A good Middle School Friend came over and helped with one of the seating and umbrella areas, thanks Jeff Hailey👍
•Thank you to the Spencer Family for always coming to the rescue and doing so much🙏❤️purgulas, gates, fence, etc…
•And to the Hickmans for all the beautiful flowers, irrigation, and herbs…

So excited to see everyone soon and this weekend, we got a couple steps further to completing. We are still about three weeks out, as we are finishing things up to make this a memorable experience in place for good hearted, fun, loving people that want to be surrounded by others without drama and a quiet, beautiful setting without drama!

If you’re like me with things that are crazy in this world, we don’t have time or patience for phony, baloney individuals!

Today, someone said to me, it seems like everyone who asks to be a member, you say-absolutely, you’re a member! 🥳 (well that’s basically because the ones that have reached out are the loyal individuals who have supported and are good hearted folks!)

My response to this person, (who by the way is not a member), that is not true, there is a list of people that will not be permitted to be members or if they come with members and they are on that list, they are not permitted to come in.!

Why? 🥸😳

Well, if you’re like me, I don’t make judgments on people, but when shady, unethical, and darn right destructive people think they have the wool pulled over people‘s eyes, I don’t have time or patience for this type of behavior in my life any longer🤷‍♂️

So instead!⬇️

Another sneak peek at Fountain Gardens and Eatly. Thank you Walnut Ridge Farm For the beautiful flowers and landscaping today! I might add that if you are looking for beautiful flowers or unique, tropical plants, or even if you’re like me and love all the above, but just do not have time to water every single thing by hand, they are able to run irrigation to all your beautiful flowers and plants and with just a simple turn of your water faucet, Walla, your plants and flowers are watered 🙏❤️
Please reach out to them if you have the need for beautiful flowers or even help with making your property stand out! This wonderful family are caring individuals who love what they do!

I know a lot of people been asking what is really happening and going on?

Well, in a nutshell, this will be a special event venue to rent for weddings, bridal showers, large birthday parties, or any type of celebrations.

You will also have an option to have Rent a portion of the space ( Victorian House excluded not included) or all of the space as a rental or Rental Space and EATLY to cater here at Fountain Garden venue!

•We are also a members club, which will comprise of EATLY Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday brunches to soon follow.

Opening date to be announced and more info on Rentals/Food/Memberships to come.

Here’s another water feature that I’m in the middle of, and yes, I’ve built this one from scratch too🙃🤪
Please excuse the mess as I still need to finish mortar, pavers, and waterfall feature. It’s taking a little bit longer than what I anticipated to get things done, but truly want this to be a paradise for people to enjoy.

Walnut Ridge Farm will have our flowers up middle of next week-

This weekend prettying things up and cleaning up to get that much closer…

Ciao friends👋
Today, Saturday Dec 20th, is our last day of business at Eatly in Urbana.
We want to thank everyone over the years who have believed, supported, and have become friends 🙏❤️.
We love all of you and couldn’t have existed without your support!

Both of my parents are needing 💯% caregiving, my dad has been receiving for quite some time, and most recently my mom has been very sick and also awaits us going to OSU for treatments. 🙏
The new owners of 116 Miami Street are wonderful people who I’ve known for a few years. Stay tuned for their exciting News to come soon and Best to them🤗🫶.

With a few more Private Holiday Parties scheduled through the 18th, we wanted to take a moment and thank everyone over the last 5+ years we’ve been in business❤️

We couldn’t be more grateful for the friendships and love with the support of Eatly! Transparency is important and the respect you have with the community should always be crystal clear.

I’ve prepped everyone in the past with why I moved back to Ohio back in 2018, was to take care of my parents. Fast forwarding to 2025-Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s and other health issues are really taking a toll on my folks-and me🙃😔 Time, patience, and full commitment is needed to continue the care for my folks at this time. So what does this mean!?!?

We will be transitioning our Urbana Restaurant location to a wonderful New Owner (not Eatly they will be doing their Brand) soon! We had quite a few people interested in our location for their restaurant, but felt the connection with the soon to be new building owner to be a part of Champaign County community and bring something that Urbana will love and welcome with open arms.

Again, I thank everyone for supporting our business as we have been so blessed and what started back in Covid era, in Springfield, as an outdoor venue for people to gather became something so much more.

You and your loved ones became a part of our Family. We love you 😘
