With references to the explosive vibes of the late-sixties/early-seventies in its décor and classic seventies-era lounge cocktails, The Carlile Room presents a thoroughly modern and progressive menu with our favorite local meats. Located across from one of Seattle’s storied performance halls, the Paramount Theatre, The Carlile Room caters to pre-theatre crowds with sharable plates and a hearty menu.

Sushi Kaiju is the latest creation from Carlile Room’s lead, J.R. Head, blending two lifelong passions: sushi and giant movie monsters. 
Inspired by decades of sushi craftsmanship and a love of the Godzilla universe, J.R. set out to create a menu where every roll tells a story and is a beautiful display of art.

Sushi Kaiju is coming to the Carlile Room August 5th - 9th. J.R. Head, one of our wonderful cooks, is blending two lifelong passions together: sushi and giant movie monsters. Inspired by the colorful worlds of kaiju movies and video games, J.R. has created a menu both delicious and beautiful. Cooking is an art from and with this menu J.R. has transformed classic sushi into something imaginative and a little larger than life.
