A participation trophy rainbow

The weather couldn’t decide if it wanted to storm, rain, be sunny, or start a dramatic breakup scene, and somehow this little guy still showed up

When I first started working at Java Station I thought being an adult meant drinking coffee and having your life together

I have since learned that being an adult is actually standing in a walkin cooler wondering why you walked in there. Also getting irrationally excited when someone restocks the lids correctly..

In my younger years if someone annoyed me I would’ve considered mild revenge

Now thanks to working with the wonderful team at Java Station I’ve experienced ✨growth✨

Instead of choosing violence I just write passive aggressive notes like

“Whoever used the last bagel and didn’t write it down, I hope both sides of your pillow are warm.”

Growth. Maturity. Personal development

So now I’m curious…

It is with great sadness to let everyone know the local Hoppers are at it again..

The scottsburg water main on the square has broken..

We’re not sure how it happened we were watching minor developments occur around the square and major developments on 65..

Clearly they were not happy with the growth as it was affecting their way of life

We will be shutting down for about an hour until this break is fixed

We are soo sorry about this inconvenience and hope to serve you really soon!

🚨 THE SCOTTSBURG FIRE DEPARTMENT IS DOING THE STINKY FISH CHALLENGE FOR CHILDREN’S CRUSADE 🚨

This town really said:
“How do we raise money for kids?”
and someone answered:
“make firefighters eat the most foul fish known to mankind.”

And honestly?
Respect.

If you remember the Stinky Fish Challenge, you already know this smell has the power to clear a room faster than a fire alarm.

So now we need predictions:
who keeps a straight face
who instantly regrets volunteering
who’s gonna pretend it “tastes like tuna”
who accidentally makes the entire fire station smell suspicious until July

All jokes aside, we absolutely love seeing the community come together for Children’s Crusade. Scottsburg Fire Department is always willing to show up for this town even if it means emotional damage via fermented fish.

sorry we’ve been suspiciously quiet lately but that’s because we’ve been in the lab like tiny caffeinated raccoons with access to bad decisions and a laminator

while everyone thought we were “being normal” we were actually plotting. scheming. connecting red yarn on bulletin boards. accidentally creating 14 drinks at 1am and arguing over whether whipped cream counts as a personality trait

just know we have something coming and it is either:

the best idea we’ve ever had
or
the exact reason the town Facebook groups hate us again

possibly both

anyway thank you for allowing us to disappear into the void for a second. we’ve been moving in silence like a feral little startup founded by espresso shots and sleep deprivation
