Cup 22 is a beautiful two level riverside coffeeshop located in the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw. Full service gourmet coffee and teas, espresso everything, frappes and smoothies and locally baked goods both sweet and savory. With riverside outdoor decks, free wifi, beautiful natural light and lots of space for meetings, and meetups and access to walking trails on the river, its a great place to meet friends, study, watch the sky and the river, write that novel, or get your work done.

It’s been a year since Saxapahaw was hit by a storm and huge flood with massive impact on this village and the community we hold so dear.

Neighbors, friends, businesses, families, donors, volunteers, and community organizations near and far joined together to dig out, build back, and support each other. The loving response was truly beautiful and overwhelming with so many pitching to help. We came together as a community at the Haw River Ballroom that very first day to organize and respond and it’s truly amazing to see what grew out of that first gathering. Special thanks to Saxapahaw Forward for their handling and disbursement of donations and funds for the community. Thanks to EVERYONE who contributed in any way!!!! We are coming back together Friday, July 10th Haw River Ballroom to mark the year and celebrate community & resilience. Please join in! Happy Fourth of July! Check out these beauties from Kim’s Bake Shop ! Lots of yummy baked goods this morning 🇺🇸❤️❗️Also Saturdays in Saxapahaw takes place INSIDE Haw River Ballroom today (due to the heat) and Cup 22 will stay open to 8pm with Alamance Jazz Band playing great tunes - arts, crafts and farmers market at the ballroom at 5 and music starts at 6! Free and open to all!
