Thank you 🙏. A solid group showed up last evening to cast the longest shadows, sweat it out, and climb a Trail House favorite Los Alamos. It was a perfectly warm mid October evening on the hill, and the comradarie, conversations, and appreciation were shared at the summit, and later back at Trail House 🏡. It's always special for all of us when a big group shows up to ride with us when we close. The guys always rode after work, it when we are joined by others it makes us reflect on how solid our community is, and how lucky we are to be a part of it. So with that... Thank you ❤️✌️

The final build of the Tarmac SL9 series this week is dedicated to the "Hour of Power" For many years at the shops The Bike Peddler NorCal Bike sport and Trail House we have spent our lunch hour smashing out known local loops on our road bikes ❤️. This bike is all gas ⛽️ no brakes! The SRAM Road 1x13 drivetrain keeps you honest, but also makes sure you've got a lead foot 🦶to push the 50t single front ring . Testing so far has gone well and if you see this bike and rider in the wild, just know he's got to get back to work, so try and sit on while he smashes thru the gears ⚙️ and enjoy the draft while you can 💨

Longtime friend of Trail House and experienced road rider decided to see what all the buzz was about after riding one of our demo bikes. We spent some time making things just right. From the 167.5 crankset, to the 38mm wide, 100mm length stem with a 10 degree flare, and a size smaller frame than he has ridden, this one fits him like a glove and he can attest that his average mph is up 2-4 mph over his older bike's. It wasn't a process that was rushed, we made educated decisions with our rider. We had him ride a 54cm and a 52cm. We analyzed measurements and considered all of the changes involved and built a Tarmac SL9 that fits our rider perfectly!

We've had the pleasure of building a few Tarmac SL9's up lately and this one with a full Campagnolo World Super Record groupo is really special 🇮🇹 💗. Our rider is now out laying down miles on this beautiful piece of art. Just in time for the fall 🍂 season. Thursday night road ride from Trail House has been really good as the Summer shadows grow taller, and the costal influence cools the day. We roll at 5:15 sharp and aim to ride at least 30 miles. Regroups at the top of the climbs, and shared stoke, and refreshments when we get back to Trail House Café . Pace is moderate to advanced, and everyone must be self sufficient. Based right here in Sonoma County, this club gets kids ages 2–11 (balance bikes through 5th grade) out on the trails every season, and we’re proud to support them. This fall’s Scamper runs Sept 13 – Nov 1 at parks around Sonoma and Marin counties.
