Must be Monday… with Elyse!
1. A local (enough) pick this week is our fan favorite: I Drink Therefore I Amber. From Fairhope, Alabama and Fairhope Brewing Company this is a beer the Gulf Coasters keep coming back for. 5.4% and brewed with Galaxy and Chinook hops. This is an even, roasty, toasty amber with a crisp and clean finish. #9 at Growler, look for the Pelican tap handle!
2. Next up we will highlight the Juicy Pale Ale from Dogfish Head out of Milton, Delaware. #13 on the wall and an all day 5.3% alcohol. This kaleidoscope of flavors brought to by El Dorado and Azteca hops, brewed with grains and granola, and juiced up with pineapple, mango and passion fruit. Dead Heads assemble for The Grateful Dead Juicy Pale Ale!
3. My IPA this week is a limited release from Sixpoint Brewing Company out of New York. This is a 9.1% pineapple hazy double. A rift off their classic Resin IPA this is brewed with Bru-1 and Idaho hops and then fermented over pineapple puree! #18 on our wall, and you better get it while it’s hot, once it’s gone it’s gone!
4. Last and certainly never the least, the Black Widow. From New York’s Original Sin, this is a cider brewed with NY apples and fresh blackberries, giving a tart and fruit forward cider. A scrumptious gluten free option! Winner of the 2018/2019 Silver medal at the Great Lakes Cider Competition. #42, 6% and one of my mom’s favorites!
