Award-winning vocalist Amanda Roswick-Pitcher joins jazz pianist Scott Martin for an intimate live performance from 5–7 PM, then stay for dinner, another round, and whatever the evening becomes.

Scott Martin
Decades of jazz, from New York studios to Colorado stages, now bringing his signature piano style to Maine.
Currently teaching Jazz Piano at Bowdoin College, Scott’s performances blend virtuosity, warmth, and storytelling.

Amanda Roswick-Pitcher
An award-winning jazz vocalist whose performances are rooted in emotional depth, lyrical phrasing, and connection.

The International Women’s Day did not begin as a celebration, it began as a movement.

March 8 honors the women who raised their voices for dignity, fair work, and equal opportunity. From early labor movements in NYC to advocates around the world, generations of women helped expand access to education, voting rights, workplace protections, and greater participation in leadership.

Progress has been made, but the work continues. Building a more inclusive and supportive society is an ongoing effort. One that benefits families, communities, and future generations.

Today is also a reminder that everyone can play a role by supporting, mentoring, uplifting, and creating opportunities for the women around us.
