Hi folks , As many of you may or may not know, we also own a couple of farms up north. One in Dover-Foxcroft and another on the coast in Blue Hill.
In Blue Hill, we raise our registered Berkshire pigs, also known as Kurobuta Pork. Kurobuta breeds are considered one of the nicest and tastiest pork breeds in existence. If you read the flyer we've attached here, it explains in more detail just what Kurobuta/Berkshire pork is. To our knowledge, we are the only farm in Maine raising registered full-blood Berkshire pork.
Every year, our half and whole pigs sell out to consumers and our restaurant group, where we use our pork on our menus. However, this year we raised an additional 40 pigs specifically for our Southern Maine clientele to fill their freezers, and also for holiday gift box sets that can be purchased for the person in your life who you think would really enjoy something like this.
I'll post a picture of the pigs in the comments. The first batch will be going to the processor next week, and the first boxes will be ready for pick-up at the orchard or delivery in the 2nd week of December.

These beauties are in high demand and will go fast. This pork is clean, raised naturally on non-gmo grain feed, we feed them acorns, pumpkins, and loads and loads of apples and other fruits from the orchard when in season
We will have the ability to take payment this weekend while at the Christmas tree market here at the orchard as well if they're not all sold out by then.
