Today's the day, Doles Orchard is opening for the season! The BBQ smokers are running, pizza oven's getting hot, beer, cider, and canned cocktails are chilling. We're opening Friday at 4:00pm, open till the sun sets.

We've got some fun things up our sleeve as the season progresses, but out of the gate you'll notice more seating and more parking. Get ready.

Without getting too sour about it, cherry season was a tough one, cold winter really didn't do 'em any favors. We've got some, but not a lot, so don't plan a special trip just for cherries. $5/lb while they last. Good news is there's loads of apples, peaches, and raspberries ahead of us this season.

Weekend hours: Saturday - Sunday, 11:30 til dark.�Regular schedule: Tuesday - Sunday, stay tuned, might shift a bit as we settle in.

Hi folks , As many of you may or may not know, we also own a couple of farms up north. One in Dover-Foxcroft and another on the coast in Blue Hill.

In Blue Hill, we raise our registered Berkshire pigs, also known as Kurobuta Pork. Kurobuta breeds are considered one of the nicest and tastiest pork breeds in existence. If you read the flyer we've attached here, it explains in more detail just what Kurobuta/Berkshire pork is. To our knowledge, we are the only farm in Maine raising registered full-blood Berkshire pork.

Every year, our half and whole pigs sell out to consumers and our restaurant group, where we use our pork on our menus. However, this year we raised an additional 40 pigs specifically for our Southern Maine clientele to fill their freezers, and also for holiday gift box sets that can be purchased for the person in your life who you think would really enjoy something like this.

I'll post a picture of the pigs in the comments. The first batch will be going to the processor next week, and the first boxes will be ready for pick-up at the orchard or delivery in the 2nd week of December.

If you are interested please follow this link and pay the deposit for either a half or a whole pig, and we will then reach out to send you a cut sheet so we can customize your half or whole hog to your liking.

These beauties are in high demand and will go fast. This pork is clean, raised naturally on non-gmo grain feed, we feed them acorns, pumpkins, and loads and loads of apples and other fruits from the orchard when in season

Hi Folks - We will open today, Thursday, Dec. 4th at 3 pm (after school gets out) for Christmas Tree and Wreath sales until 6 pm. Our holiday lights will be on, and the place will be lit up, so if you're looking for something to do this afternoon/evening then bundle up and we'll see you at the orchard 🎄

On Saturday and Sunday this week we will open from 9 am until 3 pm 🎄 with Cinnamon buns, donuts 🍩, and muffins, along with hot coffee, hot cider, and creamy hot chocolate all available when we open at 9 am ☕️

Our kitchen menu for Saturday and Sunday is posted below - I do plan to have the breakfast poutine available in the morning BEFORE the advertised 11 am kitchen menu start time. Otherwise, the rest of the hot food will start around 11 am., and muffins, donuts, and cinnamon buns will start EARLY at opening right off at 9 am and will be available throughout the day.

Stout season has arrived 🙌 😍

Stout season is here 🙌 and we'll be releasing this beauty here at the Orchard this Friday, November 28th. Percolate is our 8% Imperial coffee milk stout which pours smooth and rich, and fits right in perfect with our festive plans for the next few weekends up here on Dole's Ridge Road.

I'll bring a stack of Blaze Brewing Company glassware with me this Friday. It'll be a free keep the glassware kinda day at the orchard while supplies last.

We'll post a food menu and list of retail options for the weekend soon!

Folks - This is sure to be a good time! Christmas trees🌲, wreaths, baked goods, sweets, Christmas Market foods, festive beverages 🍷, holiday cheer, and more 🧑‍🎄

Hey Folks 👋 been a few weeks since we've last spoken, and we miss you all so much! We also miss giving you our weekly run-down of all the wonderful things happening up here on Dole's Ridge Road.

So with that said we've decided to re-open for a little holiday cheer up here at the orchard, and the festivities begin on "Black Friday" Nov. 28th at 9 am. 🌲🎅🧑‍🎄🤶

We've got a few hundred Grade 1 and Grade 2 Christmas 🎄 trees of many shapes and sizes coming in this week that we'll have for sale, along with some Christmas wreaths, and a few other festive items that will be available all weekend long.

We'll have donuts, hot cider, warm spiked cider, mulled wine (warm wine), Blaze Brewing Company cans and draft beers available, sausages and sweets for sale, Egg Nogg, and of course....food!

We'll be cooking up a storm in one of our restaurant kitchens and serving it up to you nice and HOT from under the big tent all day long, or until sell-out 😉 We think you'll really enjoy the menu we have planned 🤤 with traditional European Christmas market favorites, and of course some good ol' Maine home cookin', too 🫶

Don't forget to bundle up, and we'll make sure the fire puts are blaring pretty good, too 🔥

CURRENT SCHEDULE will be 9 - 3 pm Friday November 28th, Saturday November 29th, and Sunday November 30th.

THEN from 9 - 3 pm Saturday and Sunday December 6th and 7th, and we plan to do the same on Saturday December 13th and 14th as well. Of course all of this is weather permitting as well ✅️

These are family friendly events with plenty of refreshments for the young ones as well 😍
