Our mission is to share the warmth, hospitality, and rich traditions of our heritage through every bite we serve. Like many families, we have faced our share of challenges - job losses, illness, the loss of loved ones, and the global adversities we've all experienced. These experiences, rather than weakening us, fueled a determination to build something meaningful together. Drawing strength from o

ur diverse backgrounds and rich cultural heritage, we have embarked on this venture, bringing the same resilience and family values that have sustained us to ShaPo LLC. We wanted to introduce our kids to the beauty of European culture, while continuing and expanding our family traditions, and we’re excited to share that with our friends and customers. Eastern European pastries symbolize warmth, connection, and comfort, and that’s exactly what ShaPo is all about - bringing people together. As the legendary Anthony Bourdain once said, “In the end, I think food is about connection - connecting with people, cultures, and the earth.” We believe food is a universal medium that connects us all, transcending boundaries and building relationships. After a little 🌧️ early on the 🌞 came out & so did the visitors @ the RVA BIG Market. Steady bizz throughout the morning 😄. The Crepes were the first to run out this time, then the pierogis,... 🍓 & 🍏🍎were the winners of the day on the sweet topping side.

Lovely 🌅 @ the RVA BIG Market this Saturday & as the 🇨🇦☁️ were dissipating we launched our "reinvented" Beignets, new style, thinner, fluffier, crispier 😋. The recently added ham & cheese stuffed fried bread was a 👍.

Whirlwind 🫨 day for the Shapo Team this Saturday @ the Big RVA BIG Market. Our generator 🔋🔌decided to stall and the 🌬️ wind made it tricky 😬 to use the table burners. We had to offer a limited 🫤 menu. The pan fried pierogis, the crepes & Tiramisu did well. Big Thanks 🤝 to our fellow vendors who offered 🤲 assistance and support.
