We dropped pizzas for the remaining 200 or so humans who were wrapping up the Fire Camp for The Hawk Fires up at Rancho San Rafael.

It was awesome timing because they are breaking down all day and headed out tomorrow.

When I stopped by earlier in the day to ask how many people there would be left to feed this evening, they were so stoked and that felt awesome!!!!

Their Kraft services had just broken down after breakfast. The good trucks had all packed up and out that were there.

They had no plans for dinner than leftovers or snacks.

Sometimes the timing is everything.

Chow up boys and girls. And thank you for EVERYTHING.

These guys and gals are doing that good good work here feeding our first responders. What an amazing operation. Thank you, Marvin, for pointing us in the right direction!

We also dropped off some lunch for all of the workers and other volunteers.

Going to hit the Rancho San Rafael Command Center on our way back to figure out how their shifts work and how we can help feed the 200+ responders who are still hard at work with the aftermath of these devastating fires.

So maybe once in a great while (like a few times per year) we may talk about breaking a sales record... Something more along the lines of, "Just had our biggest Thursday ever (or our biggest month ever)! Thank you so much" and so on. But this one hits different.

We were gathering our reports to pay sales tax for the month of July and then this happened.... $245,000 in gross sales (you gotta put the sales tax back in - @ $16k). And, we know. It is a bit crass to post something like this. Actual numbers.

But here is the context and why it matters.... This is a pretty freaking big deal. It puts Noble Pie Parlor's sales for the month of July in the top 1%-2% of single store, independent pizza shops in the entire nation.

Not in Reno. Not in Nevada. Not regionally or within certain B and C Markets. IN THE NATION. Including NYC, Dallas, Orlando, Chicago, Los Angelos, and on and on.

And how did we do this? With all of YOU. With our unstoppable team of misfits and cool kids. With positivity and determination in the face of haters and grumps.

And gol' dang it, y'all.... it feels really really really really good.

Thank you so much from the absolute, scraping from the bottom of the barrel of our hearts.

None of this is possible without our community and our city and our staff showing up, ready to rock, ready to cheers, laugh, to hug and hammer it out each and every day.
