It’s been a great week getting the shop up to where it needs to be. Electrical is all set, fridge was delivered, Henrietta yelled at me again and the machine pulled its first shots.

There are only a couple more steps until OPEN. Thank you for being patient, we’re doing this right 🤘🏼

From the very beginning, we knew that branded cups were essential to what we’re building. If you’ve been following along for a bit, you might remember that the logo (and the cup design that followed) was one of the first things I started working on years ago to make this all feel real. Our brand identity has always played a big role in how we operate, especially coming from a background in photography (and sales and marketing).

Today marked another small step forward—we installed a few trailer essentials and brought along some cups for their first proper beauty shots. I’ll share more soon about the thought process behind our cup choices, but for now, tell a friend we’ll be opening soon.

And a quick shoutout to Google for making it impressively difficult to get our business listed so until that’s sorted, keep an eye here for the most up-to-date days and times to stop by 🤘🏼

This week brought some beautiful weather and the perfect time to get things done in the trailer: our ice drop! It wasn't quite the "drop-in" installation as we'd hoped but we got it done.

We also got a lot of our required paperwork submitted, now it's just a bit of hurry up and wait.

With that being said, we're picking up the espresso machine tomorrow and can't wait to show that off soon. She's a beaut.
