OK folks, this one really effing hurts!!!  25 years ago when I moved to Quincy, I volunteered to be a basketball coach for the Rec department, & was teamed up with Tom Oglesby! I was young, strong & passionate  about everything! My third grade boys team, dreams of being in food service here in town & just knowing I was where I was supposed to be here, Quincy, Home! Tom & the Oglesby trust fund invested in me all those years ago, & because of them, I am here today, at The Knook!  I just found out today, (don’t know when or how) that my boy, Dougie Oglesby passed away. He served our country in The Army & was one of those guys that would never let you forget what you meant to him. Every time he was in town, he’d come to The Knook! “ Hi Coach” , never called my Kris, Krissy or chef. Always Coach. It made me feel very special!! Always showed me respect. His big old bear hugs & bright, beautiful eyes! I will miss you, precious man!!! Thank you so much for your service, & all you have done, & what you ment to all of us.💔💔💔

All the classic flavors of a Reuben sandwich in soup form, topped with Swiss cheese cubes & marbledrye croutons. No, we’ve never done this soup before. We had never heard of shepherds pie soup before we did it & now it’s one of our top sellers. It’s going to be on point! If not, no soup for you!😁Herb roasted pork loin sandwich, on a sweet steak roll, with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, & honey mustard dressing for the lunch special. Have a good day.
