Putney’s 3rd Annual Main Street Festival is tomorrow.. check this schedule of events. The Gstore will be out on the Tavern Lawn along with Putney Mountain Winery while the Stockwell Brothers play. I’ll be serving a butternut and pear soup with corn bread. Maybe some our beef chili too. The w**ery will have the beverages. Also Putney Blooms will coordinate distribution and planting of dozen of flower bulbs that will sprout next spring. We hope to see you there!

So, new owner of the newspaper distributor does not want the unsold paper returned. We can send it out with the recycling but this size pile will happen every week from now on. PLEASE let us know if you need some for a school project, composting, line the cat litter box, as packing material, start your fires, a paper mache obsession? Stop by anytime, we’re happy to oblige.
