HAPPY THURSDAY FRIENDS
Meet the newest addition to team Monte’s, Sarah, showing off our new SQUASH Pizza! Roast Squash puree with a spicy Pistachio Salsa Macha (nuts, pumpkin seeds, sesame seed, pistachio, avocado oil, and a variety of fruity dried chilis) and lemon. Ramona from Snellfarmkitchen tried a piece today and gave it an mmmmmm and commented generally that the kick was there but not too much! Plant-based and very delicious!

Monte’s EGGPLANT PARM is back!
If you have not tried this guest-favorite sandwich before, you definitely should! We prepare our eggplant similar to way our Nana did - slice and cook the eggplant (we grill ours), bake the slices with egg and grated cheese (Grana), cut the eggplant into slabs and roll them in breadcrumbs for a quick fry (we use Avocado oil). Served on our pizza bianca flatbread with melted provolone, fresh basil, and a little Nana Q’s sauce (with extra on the side for dipping). Sooooo delicious!! ❤️

Another postcard day in Maine! At Monte’s we’re feeling lucking to live here and lucky to offer our lovely guests such high quality food day in and day out. Our Turkey Avo here is a delicious, satisfying sandwich built with house-roasted turkey, creamy avocado mash, crispy bacon, fresh dark greens and a flavorful salsa rossa.
