Due to ongoing software issues, credit card readers are currently unavailable at all G-PISD high school events with concessions, including athletic events.

💵 Cash will still be accepted at concessions.

We are working to resolve the issue and will share an update once credit card readers are available again.

🌟 FUELING THE ADVENTURE: Meet the Food & Nutrition Services Leadership Team 🌟

Every successful adventure depends on leaders who chart the course, guide the crew and keep each stop moving forward. This team brings together department leadership, Kitchen Expedition Leaders and Kitchen Expedition Guides who support Food & Nutrition Services teams across G-PISD.

Now, the journey heads into the campus kitchens to meet more of the people behind the meals.

Every adventure needs someone to chart the course. As Food & Nutrition Services’ Chief Adventure Navigator, Jeff Atkinson leads the entire department—from the office and warehouse to every campus kitchen.

His leadership helps provide teams with the direction and support needed to serve G-PISD students each day, keeping the journey moving forward and the focus where it belongs: providing meals that bring joy and fuel students for the adventures ahead. 🧭

🥦 A colorful adventure awaits at the Wildcat Café!

USDA school meal guidelines require a variety of vegetables throughout the week from five subgroups: dark green, red/orange, legumes, starchy, and other vegetables. Fresh, frozen, and canned options can all contribute to nutritious school meals. Students must be offered at least ¾ cup of vegetables each day.

Las normas del USDA para las comidas escolares requieren que durante la semana se ofrezca una variedad de vegetales de cinco subgrupos: verde oscuro, rojo/anaranjado, legumbres, vegetales con almidón y otros vegetales. A refreshing new option is joining the adventure! Beginning sometime during the week of September 28, The Switch sparkling 100% fruit juice will be available for $3 at all elementary schools (excluding the Early Childhood Center).

With zero added sugar, no preservatives and two fruit servings in every can, students will have five fun flavors to choose from! Watch for The Switch to arrive at your school! 🥝🍓🍊🍒🍉
