Some people walk into your restaurant as guests… and somehow, along the way, they become so much more than that. ❤️
Today, we want to give a very special shoutout to our sweetest, most lovable couple, Mr. David and Miss Sandy.
Although Miss Sandy isn’t pictured here in the first one receiving their basket, we simply couldn’t let this moment pass without recognizing both of them, because these two have truly become such a special part of our Chick-fil-A Portland family. (she is featured in our second one 🥹)

Mr. David and Miss Sandy are, without a doubt, some of our biggest supporters and were our FIRST guests here at Chick-fil-a Portland! They are always stopping by, always bringing a smile, and always reminding us just how special it is to serve a community where relationships can grow into something so much deeper.

And if you know Miss Sandy, you KNOW about her love for her Diet Coke. 😂❤️ And if you know Mr. David, you know that he will make sure she gets it! Whether it’s 5:30 in the morning or sometime in the afternoon, if Miss Sandy wants her Diet Coke, Mr. David is on a mission!

But truly, beyond the Diet Cokes, the visits, and all the little moments in between, these two have impacted our lives in ways they probably don't even realize. Their kindness, consistency, encouragement, and genuine love have meant more to us than we could ever put into words.

We wanted to take a moment to show them just how much we love and appreciate them, even though this little post could never possibly compare to the gratitude we have in our hearts for them.

Mr. David and Miss Sandy — thank you for always showing up, for loving on our team, for being part of our Chick-fil-A Portland family, and for allowing us to be a small part of your lives. We are so incredibly blessed to know you both. 🥹❤️

Yesterday marked FIVE YEARS at our Chick-fil-A location, and honestly, our hearts are just so full. 🥹❤️
Five years. Five years of serving, growing, learning, laughing, celebrating, and—most importantly—getting to know and love the incredible community that has welcomed us so warmly.

We are beyond grateful that this place gets to be home. Portland, thank you for letting us be a small part of your community. We truly don’t take a single day, guest, conversation, or memory for granted.

We chose to spend our anniversary exactly where we wanted to be—with our guests. 🫶🏼 So, our deepest apologies that there aren’t many pictures from yesterday. We were simply too busy soaking it all in, spending time with you, and being present in a moment that means so much to us.

Thank you for showing up for us, cheering us on, sharing your lives with us, and allowing us to serve you for these past five years. You have made this more than just a restaurant—you have made it feel like home.

Here’s to five beautiful years, an incredibly special community, and so much more still to come. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds. 🤍
