Porter SnoBall Family owned and operated shaved ice snoballs since 1979. Family owned and operated since 1979. The original Porter Snoball was founded by Martha Turner.

The current owner is her daughter Karen Barfield. Our original prices were .25 .35 .45. and we started with just 12 flavors. Porter Snoball has grown in popularity over the last 30 years due in part by it's uniqueness, our flavors, our constant hours, and our love of the people. Some of our customers come all the way from Sugarland to experience hospitality, a fair price, and Quality every time. W

e have grown since 1979 our prices are now 1.25, 1.50, 2.00, and 3.00, and we have over fifty flavors.

Please help us find Sibyl! She was Granny's original machine and cherished by us all, and she was stolen from us last night. Yes, we could just buy another. We can, and will, use our other machine, but Sibyl has been a big part of three generations growing up. She has taught patience to us all-she has many quirks. The true value of this machine is sentimental for our family and many others.

Friends, it's very sad that we have to make this post. Someone broke in to the building and stole our machine over night. If anyone has any information please reach out to us. There has been a police report filed. We will open soon, just a little late, with our spare machine. You can't keep us down!
