One never knows what will happen when three women sit on a porch and share ideas over a strong, hot cup of coffee on a beautiful late summer morning. In the case of Kerry, Trisha and Jenny, it resulted in a specialty gift and coffee shop named “ginnys” after Kerry’s mom - Jenny and Trisha’s grandma - who died days before her 29th birthday. Ginny is remembered, by those who knew her, as a beautiful
person, inside and out, who planted zinnias, fished for bullheads, made homemade donuts, drew paper dolls for her daughters and tried to get as much out of life as she could before her lengthy illness ended her life. We named our business “ginnys” to honor Ginny and pass down her legacy to her grandchildren, great grandchildren and beyond. Our mission is to "scatter joy" whether it's through an amazing cup of coffee or through our interactions with our customers, suppliers and co-workers. Our philosophy is that focusing on our mission doesn't guarantee our business will be a financial success, but it DOES guarantee it will make it rewarding.
