Update for today Aug 27th
We are still in the hospital. Last couple days Levander has been running a small fever and throwing up quite a bit. We were really worried it had something to do with the surgery but they took a swab and it came back as Rino entero virus which is basically just a common cold with yucky tummy also. So that’s good news sorta. We will probably be here a few more days and I should be back in Pearce Sunday . This little guy is tough and mama and papa are so exhausted but so happy to be over that scary bump!!! The tumor and tissue was sent to a lab where they will run tests on it and plan out what is the future plans 🙂

Breathing tube is out and Jessica and Gavin are in ICU with Levander

Levander went into surgery this am. It’s been a long long wait but we have just been informed that he had made it through and is stable!! He still has the breathing tube in but hopefully in next half hour Jessica and Gavin will be able to go see him! The surgeon was able to resect the whole tumor !!!!!!!!! In the MRI this am it showed that the tumor was starting to turn around and begin to grow again ….so it was detrimental that they got in there today and did a fantastic job of being Gods hands here and got the tumor and blood ect out!!!
He had a tumor that took up half his brain when born!! Then with all your prayers God worked an absolute miracle and the tumor shrunk to just about 1/3 the size!!! And now the surgery had taken care of the rest !

Levander had his MRI and the surgeon has informed us that they are now taking him into surgery.
Thank you everyone for your prayers! I will keep you updated. Surgery should last at least 4-6 hours

Good evening community Family thank you for your prayers your love and your support in the recent loss of our great uncle. We have experienced some great losses this year yet God still sees fit to give us strength to get through another day and challenge. Thank you for your patience and supporting us.

Good evening community family sometimes in life we don't take the time to understand the value that others bring to our family and our lives.
Many times we judge or complain however we don't understand the sacrifice that others give while suffering silently yet wearing a beautiful gracious smile. No one knows the struggle it takes for them to breathe and live each day.

We at the Fe Skillet would like to take the time right now to express our gratitude and sorrow in the loss of one of our team members Lisa Lara.

We'd like to share the testament of the blessing she was to our community, our family and our lives.
Her gracious and humble smile will always be remembered through the love she shared each day prepping and preparing to share her gifts with our community and her love for God, family and food. Many did not know the love and effort she put into making your and our days a blessing in the background of the restaurant. It was her great sacrifice that got us through many a days while silently suffering with aches and pains.

She never complained yet always wore a smile, made us laugh, shared her talent through food and creativity. She performed her job with such grace and humility.

We will be eternally grateful for a job well done and the blessings she brought to our Fe Skillet family and our community family.

Please pray for her family her husband of 46 years her two daughters a son-in-law and two grandchildren.
