Last night, 41 North BNI traded business cards for co****le bags and gathered at Grey Sail Brewing in Westerly for our annual Summer Party!

Members, significant others, and kids came together for an evening filled with great food, amazing local brews and beverages, plenty of laughs, and some fiercely competitive co****le games. While networking is what brings us together each week, events like this remind us that the relationships we build go far beyond business.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped make it such a fun and memorable evening. It's always great to step away from the office, spend time with our BNI family, and enjoy the incredible community we're fortunate to be part of.

Three things Google looks at before it decides whether to show your business.

And no, having a website isn’t enough.

1. Relevance.
Does your website clearly communicate what you do and who you serve? Google needs to understand your business before it can match you to a search. Vague copy and generic page titles make that impossible.

2. Authority.
Does the internet trust you? This comes from reviews, backlinks from credible sources, consistent business information across every platform, and how long you’ve been established online. Authority is built over time, which is exactly why starting now matters.

3. Experience.
Does your website give visitors a good experience? Load speed, mobile friendliness, clear navigation, and easy ways to contact you all factor into how Google ranks your site.
Nail all three and Google starts showing you to the people searching for exactly what you do.
