Over/Under Sports Bar | Downtown Paducah
Fast food? No. Fast-paced food? Absolutely.
Over/Under is looking for hardworking, dependable Line Cooks who can handle the heat, keep their station organized, and put out consistent food during a busy shift.
We’re a locally owned Downtown Paducah sports bar serving brunch, lunch, dinner, and everything in between. Game days can get extremely busy, so we need cooks who know how to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Previous line-cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
Reliable and ready to work
Ability to work quickly and efficiently
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow recipes, portions, and ticket times
Good communication with the kitchen team
Ability to stay organized during high-volume periods
Comfortable working on a team
Willingness to clean, stock, prep, and do whatever needs to be done to keep the kitchen moving
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Prepare food according to Over/Under recipes and standards
Work assigned stations efficiently
Read and prioritize tickets
Maintain proper food quality, portions, and presentation
Keep your station stocked and organized
Complete prep and daily kitchen tasks
Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
Communicate with other cooks and front-of-house staff
Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
Help the kitchen team succeed during high-volume shifts
