One More Taste of Summer!

Before we officially say goodbye to summer, The Downstairs Kitchen is bringing home cooking to the Hotel Albatross for an old-fashioned BBQ.

Enjoy delicious Chicken & Ribs, prepared by BBQ Pit Master Raydell Ellison, with seasonal side salads and dessert bar prepared by The Downstairs Kitchen.

It’s the perfect way to spend a summer day — good food, good people, one great porch and the neighborhood vibe that makes Ocean Grove feel like home.

Tuesdays with Dino! Every Tuesday the TDK team is in the kitchen over at Market Street Mission helping prep the food for the week. It’s our favorite day of the week😊 Today’s donations included a ton of fresh fruit and veg + an entire bucket of fresh fluke right off the boat! Every Tuesday is like being on Chopped! Our pastry line up for the weekend includes: The Albatross Cafe in OG: tons of muffin flavors and our Blueberry Lemon Crumb Cake / Art of The Bean Leaf in AP carries our quiches/ gluten free coffee cake /GF & Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie - and this weeks speciality bar - Tahini Blondie with Chocolate Chunks and a sesame crunch crumb /Over at A cup of Literature - (also in AP) has our blackberry-nectarine hand pies that have been brushed with a basil lemon glaze / and if you find your self in Point Pleasant this weekend stop into Casa Del Mar and check out our Espresso Rubbed Roast Beef sandwich or grab a Turkey Apple Brie Wrap! I love ❤️❤️❤️Rhubarb! Big shout out to Oliver and his Team over (restaurant and home delivery available) who delivered this gorgeous Rhubarb! Affordable, beautiful produce, meats, cheeses and so much more! Run by locals who support local quality farmers and vendors.
