LAST CALL FOR BLACKBERRIES—
This past month we have been celebrating a summer favorite , the blackberry, with the winner of this year’s Friends of Shelby Park and Bottoms Blackberry Jam recipe contest, Rebekah Rodarte. A Friends of Shelby volunteer and Lockeland Table enthusiast, Rebekah won this year’s blackberry pie making contest with a beautiful Blackberry Chocolate Sheet Pan Pie, which will be rolling off of the LT Community Hour menu after this weekend.

Accompanying Rebekah’s pie has been a special CH cocktail, a blackberry-mint Arnold Palmer made using Starlight Distillery Blackberry Whiskey. This 84 proof whiskey blended with sun-ripened blackberries and
then aged in used Starlight bourbon barrels. Be sure to cap off your community hour with this perfect pair before they are gone for the season.
