Hey everyone.

We wanted to share a final update with you directly. Over the past few weeks we were talking with a couple of potential buyers who were considering taking over The Cookery. In the end, none of those deals moved forward, and without a workable path to keep operating, we’ve had to make the tough call to close The Cookery permanently.

Because the business is insolvent, we aren’t able to honor the remaining gift cards. I know that’s disappointing, and I truly wish we were in a position to do more. What we will do is share our full digital library (valued at many times the price of a live class) with everyone who still has an active gift card. We’ll be sending an email soon with a download link so gift card holders can access it.

This isn’t the way we imagined things ending, but I want to say thank you — for showing up, for cooking with us, for supporting us, and for being part of this whole adventure. It meant a lot.

An Update from The Cookery

We want to thank everyone who has supported The Cookery over the years — you’ve helped create an incredible community built around food, creativity, and connection.

At this time, we’re pausing all public classes and private event bookings while we work through a potential transition in ownership. Our hope is that new leadership will step in soon to carry The Cookery forward into its next chapter.

During this transition:
• Existing tickets and gift cards will remain valid as credits and may be honored if new ownership takes over.
• Refunds aren’t being processed while operations are paused.
• We’re also preparing a special thank-you digital collection of Cookery recipes, guides, and e-books that can be redeemed by guests who prefer that option instead of waiting for future classes.

We’re deeply grateful for your patience, kindness, and support as we navigate this process. Your enthusiasm has always been the heart of The Cookery. ❤️
