In 1939, over a half century ago, Frank and Mattie Lorino opened The Little Dutch Restaurant and it fast became known as the “best place to eat in Morristown”. Frank had a warm welcome for all, a heart of gold, and a tremendous compassion for the downtrodden. He went on to his great reward on January 28, 1970 but The Little Dutch Restaurant and his memories live on. The Angelos family took over op
eration on The Little Dutch in 1973. They pledged to carry on the traditions of tasty wholesome, home-cooked food, priced reasonably, traditions established by Frank and Mattie. “A place where good friends and good food get together.”
Whatever the occasion, the cuisine will continue to be delicious and mouthwatering. We are prepared to suit the most discriminating tastes and always at an affordable price. The motto at The Little Dutch says it best, “PLEASE THE PALATE AND THE POCKETBOOK.”
George Angelos and his wife Nina devote full time to The Little Dutch. They are head chefs, managers, waiters and always official greeters. George and Nina promise years of good service and great food.
