Krawfish Kai I wanted to finally reach out and let everyone know what is going on.
Yes, Krawfish Kai has officially closed up at 14335 Liberty St, downtown Montgomery.
First I would like to thank my family for their support, love and dedication to me and the business even though it took away so much. You gave so much and I am eternally grateful!
Next thank you to some amazing employees, ones that stuck it out from start to finish, it was quite the run. Thank you to those that gave it their all over the years, we had some very amazing people and some good times. Especially Robert, Megan, Valentina, Katie, Izzy, Nathan, Ethan, Tristen, Taylor, Brooke, Calli, Kira, Victoria, Aiden. Not even close to the full list.
I would like to thank all of our loyal patrons who supported us over the past few years it was quite the journey, I learned so many things, good and bad. Many of you were there till the end and I consider you to be friends, thank you for the love and support.
Our crawfish brought thousands of new people to the city of Montgomery.
There were a number of things that led to closing up, overall it was a tough spot in the downtown area. Thank you to the little boutiques and businesses that gave their support, we tried to give back to you as well. To the businesses that made it difficult and showed hate over the years, I hope you will learn to help and support other small business instead of what you did, because it’s tough enough.
We gave as much as we could to the community and have enjoyed our time there, I wish the community and those running it now and in the future the best.
I enjoyed giving people a chance at a job, some who needed a chance, some who needed a second chance and many who we were their first job in high-school, probably employed over 60 people in the last few years, proud to see many go onto college. We also employed multiple family members who worked here together, always fun.
I will miss you all, I will miss the good times, the good people, the good food and service we strived to put out, of course you can’t make everyone happy but we tried.
I will say as many have said we were the best crawfish around, we did not compete in competitions because we had our hands full but after judging this past year for the crawfish critic at the Montgomery county fairgrounds I am pretty sure we would win if we did.
I don’t know or can’t say for sure what the future holds, but for sure it won’t be named Krawfish kai.
Thank you all again, family, friends, employees, patrons. God bless you all.
Ryan.
