The complete renovation of the 100-year-old Monson General Store, which had been vacant for several years, was completed in the summer of 2017. It is part of a broader revitalization project in Monson by the Libra Foundation. The Monson General Store was built as a market similar to the one at the Pineland Farms complex in New Gloucester. It, as much as possible, features foods grown locally in addition to Pineland Farms and local artisan products. Our DELI offers delicious freshly made items
to eat in or take out. In addition to sandwiches,
choose from a daily selection of salads,
baked goods and other treats. The Monson General Store can also provide
CATERING for your special events.

Meet the Artist and w**e tasting.
Please join us, this Friday, October 2nd 4-6 PM at the Monson Gallery Store as we feature Marie Shields, of Carrabassett Valley and Greenville, she is a self-taught artist and started painting in 2021. She was exposed to acrylic fluid artwork and loved everything about it. After learning the ropes, she explored other aspects of fluid art, acrylic painting, metal leaf work and working with resin.

For our w**e tasting this month, we will be featuring L*D Patio Pounder is a refreshing Vinho Verde white w**e from Portugal, known for its crisp and light flavor profile. We are also featuring Rufino Modus. Modus comes from the blend and balance of three grape varieties and the Latin word for “method”. There’s the elegance of Sangiovese, the softness of Merlot and the power of Cabernet Sauvignon. Modus was Ruffino’s first Supertuscan.
