A MICHIGAN FIRST!!! — AND IT JUST HAPPENED RIGHT HERE IN MONROE!
We are incredibly proud to announce a major achievement for Drew Bentley and Michigan’s specialty coffee community.
The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) has formally confirmed that Drew Bentley is the first person in Michigan to be issued an SCA Café Diploma!
The Specialty Coffee Association is an international organization dedicated to advancing excellence throughout the global coffee industry through education, research, standards, and professional development.
Drew’s achievement represents extensive education and demonstrated competency across the specialty-coffee profession. And this level of coffee knowledge and expertise can be found right here in Monroe, Michigan, at the River Raisin Trading Post Specialty Coffee Shop.
This is more than a certificate on the wall. It represents a commitment to understanding coffee at the highest professional level—from the science behind selecting the bean, extraction and preparation to quality, consistency, sensory experience, and the craft that goes into an exceptional cup of coffee.
