🚪HELP WANTED: Weekend Door Person 🚪 Our long-time greeter extraordinaire Stephen is leaving for a new career so we have some big shoes to fill!

THE JOB: If you’ve been to the bar on the weekends, you know that this is first and foremost a customer service position. Qualified applicants must be outgoing, friendly, helpful and excited to engage with people from all walks of life. Primary responsibilities include but may not be limited to: checking IDs, opening the door for customers, keeping a headcount (with an electronic counter), answering customer questions. Secondary responsibilities include but may not be limited to: tactfully dealing with problem customers without undue aggression. Fortunately, this is a very rare occurrence at the Hab, but it does happen occasionally.

THE HOURS: This position is for Fridays 4pm to 1-2am, and Saturdays from 5pm to 1-2am. Ideally, we’d prefer to have one person for both nights, but a person for each night will also be considered. So, if you’re interested in only one night, please do apply. PAY is competitive, and weekly. Experience is a huge plus, but not absolutely necessary.

🎉 PARTY TIME 🎉 We’re having an all-night birthday party this Friday, 6/26, to celebrate our 10th year at 113 Dauphin St! There will be 10¢ Braided River Brewing Hoppy By Nature from 4pm-7pm and $10 Buffalo Trace old fashioneds from 7pm-midnight. We’ll have balloons and silly hats and just are generally gonna have a good damn time. Kitchen will also have some excellent throwback items to pair with our throwback cocktail menu! See ya there!

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HAB 🎉 This week marks 10 YEARS that we’ve been open in this location! When we moved here in 2016, this end of Dauphin Street was a lot sleepier, especially in the evenings, but we’ve loved watching it grow and become such a vibrant part of the community, and being able to contribute to that in our own little way. It has not always been easy, but we wouldn’t change a minute of it. We owe all of it to our customers, both regulars and passers-through alike, and our wonderful staff.

To mark the occasion, we’re featuring a special “throwback” drinks menu and rotating kitchen specials with items from previous menus. That starts TONIGHT, and FRIDAY we’re going to have a bit of a party, so stay tuned for details!
