Veet's prides itself with the fact that it's THE PLACE in Mobile for national artists to visit and jam in. It has been a fixture in downtown Mobile, Alabama for almost two decades and is located in one of the historic building lining the west side of Royal Street (On Mobile's main Mardi Gras route). It's location and atmosphere make it a favorite among Mobile natives and visitors alike. Veet's bandstand is home ot one of Mobile's finest house bands. Doug Previto & the Family Jewels. not only do they perform live every Friday and Saturday at Veet's, but they've also played as an opening act for some of the best touring acts in the country. The members of the Family Jewels, Daryl Huffman, Gary Turk & Joe Anderson are all accomplished musicians who have individually performed throughout the states and produced both solo and collaborative recording with other nationally known acts. Another reason for Veet's popularity is the fact that there's always something going on whether it's a birthday party, holiday celebration, or a special event. During the week they feature special nights to get people up and out in the party spirit. Mondays: Jukebox & Happy Hour 4-10pm
UNLESS there's a convention in town or MARDI GRAS! There's always LIVE MUSIC! Tuesdays: Karaoke w/ Johnny Boy 8-Midnight

Wednesdays: Open 8-Midnight
Come sit in with Mark Willis from Grits n' Pieces and play your favorite tunes! Bring your own instrument, or the boys may lend you one of theirs! Thursdays: "Live w/ Veet" 8-Midnight
Every Thursday Veet features a special guest for a duo that is sure to knock your socks off! Come loosen up and let your hair down! The Dance Floor is Open! Friday & Saturdays: The Family Jewels& Special Guests 9-2
Come dance and hear the tunes of the BEST House Band around! Sundays: The Family Jewels w/ Special Guests 8-Midnight

Kandis was curious about this one because there aren't many places she wouldn't go but Yes, she absolutely hates the cold! However, she would totally visit the cute penguins, just not for very long. For today, she will just be in the Antartica of Veet's because you know it's always cold in there! Come see her for cold a/c and cold beverages to cool off. Mark Willis will be playing the tunes from 7-11. Doors open at 4pm
